Australia vs England 1st ODI

Australia has defeated England by 19 runs in the first ODI against England. It was a close match. England won the toss and asked Australia to bat first. At one stage, Australia were 123 for 5. However, the partnership of 126 runs between Glenn Maxwell and Mitchell Marsh was a game-changer.
Because of their partnership, Australia put up a total of 294 for 9 on the board. It seems to be a good total. It won’t be an easy total to chase. Glenn Maxwell scored 77 in 59 deliveries and Mitchell Marsh scored 73 runs in 100 balls. Maxwell was dismissed by Jofra Archer on a knuckleball. Marsh was dismissed by Wood and as he got plumbed. Jofra Archer and Mark Wood took three wickets. Adil Rashid picked a couple of wickets.
England started like the Aussies because they crumbled at 57 for 4 in 16.1 overs. But, Bairstow played an outstanding knock of 84 runs but he was struggling to find support from the other end. Later, he found support with Sam Billings who scored his maiden century (118 runs).
But, after the dismissal of Jonny Bairstow and Sam Billings Australia fight back with the wickets and did not allow England’s lower-middle order to score runs. Billings century went in vain as Australia won the match by 19 runs and they are leading the series 1-0. Adam Zampa picked four wickets and Josh Hazlewood took three wickets.
Josh Hazlewood is the Man of the Match. He bowled an outstanding spell in which he picked three wickets for 26 runs in 10 overs. It was an outstanding performance.
