With regards to batting, Australia managed to put up a huge score of 389 runs. Their top 5 batsman scores half-centuries. It has happened a second time in history.

This was all thanks to their capable batsmen. Steven Smith even managed to score a century (104 runs to be exact). India’s bowling was not that impressive and the bowlers disappointed the fans big time. Only Ravindra Jadeja impressed us with him being the bowler with the least economic rate. But, he dropped a catch today which is unlikely Jadeja.

Navdeep Saini was the most expensive bowler in terms of runs and he gave 70 runs in the 7 overs that he bowled. If we talk about the batting by the Indian side, then Virat Kohli played a powerful knock of 89 runs.

But he too failed to convert his inning into a match-winning one. Josh Hazlewood picked his wicket. KL Rahul too tried to play a match-winning inning. But, he got out at the score of 76 by Adam Zampa.

The rest of the team India’s batsmen failed to leave a mark on the game. However, they couldn’t convert their starts and got out by the Australians fairly quickly.

The reason for team India’s loss is because of a lack of proper partnerships amongst the batsmen. With regards to the bowling, the Australian team managed to put up quite a show.

Pat Cummins is the best bowler because of the number of wickets he took. He took 3 wickets. While Moises Henriques was the most economical one with him giving out just 34 runs in the 7 overs that he bowled. Aussies leading the series 2-0. However, we will see if India will fight back in the next ODI. Smith receives the player of the match award.
