Australia won the T20 series
Australian openers David Warner and Aaron Finch batted brilliantly because they formed an opening partnership of 120 runs. Australia was dominating the South African bowlers. In four overs, they brought up their fifty run partnership.
They scored 75 for 0 in the powerplay which was an outstanding start by the Aussies in the decider game. Their scoring rate dipped a bit. But, they were able to bring up a century partnership in only 8.5 overs. It was their third-century stand in T20Is. Both the batsman reached the fifties.
Mitchell Marsh and Matthew Wade both of them getting the chance in the playing XI. So that they can get an opportunity for the spot in the playing XI. Skipper also gave a chance to bat up the order. But, they were unable to deliver as they score 19 and 10.
Steve Smith batted in the lower middle order. Because, Marsh and Wade were promoted up the order but still, he was able to make an impact as he scored 30 in just 15 balls and takes the team to the total score of 193 for 5. All the RSA bowlers picked a wicket each.
RSA started poorly as they lost 2 wickets for 23 in 3 overs. Aussies spinners bowled brilliantly because they picked key wickets in the middle overs. They lost five wickets for 65 at the halfway stage. Australia crumbled RSA to 65 for 5 at the halfway stage.
Their pacers bowled exceptionally well as they restricted South Africa to 96. Mitchell Starc and Ashton Agar bagged three wickets each, whilst Adam Zampa took two key wickets in the game.
