They won’t be eligible to participate in any of the tournaments hosted by BCCI or state associations. BCCI President Sourav Ganguly said that players need to punished who are not obeying the rules.
NCA Head Rahul Dravid applauded Sourav Ganguly for his thoughts and encouraged players to come ahead and admit their mistakes. Many players failed to get an opportunity for playing in the age group because of some players who do the age fraud. That is the reason BCCI is on a mission so that it does not happen with anyone.

Manjot Kalra has been handed a one-year ban by DDCA for age fraud. Nitish Rana is suspected of providing a tampered document. However, he has time to share the correct details.

Uttar Pradesh has requested BCCI to take a call on Shivam Mavi’s case. But, Jammu and Kashmir have decided to put a ban on Rasikh Salam for two years for the same offense.

The players who are in the age group of 14 and 16, can register for U-16. They have stated that if the age fraud is of more than two years then players won’t be eligible for participation in the under-19 tournaments.

The voluntary Disclosure Scheme gives an opportunity to the players to provide the right documents otherwise they will have to face a two-year ban for not obeying the rules.
