Trent Boult who had a brilliant season picked up 16 wickets in the Cred Power Player of IPL 2020 at an economy rate of 6.72 in 36 overs thus winning the award of “The Cred Power Player of the Season”.

After two months of enthralling cricket, the tournament came to an end on November 10, when Mumbai Indians whitewashed Delhi Capitals by five wickets in the Indian Premier League 2020. Throughout the game, we had seen some captivating talents and one of the most thrilling finals.

Not only he had played some amazing games throughout the season but he even made his way into the record books in Mumbai Indians’ clash against Delhi Capitals in Dubai’s final. The Kiwi speedster became the first player in the tournament history to scalp a wicket off the first ball of a final which eventually led to the big win for Mumbai Indians in the season.

Rohit Sharma, the captain of Mumbai Indians referred to Boult as “best new-ball bowler” and added that Boult’s inclusion has been icing on the cake for Mumbai Indians because he can swing the new ball.
