Why Dale Steyn will be unavailable for IPL 2021? RCB leading pacer Dale Steyn announces that he won’t be available for the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League. He wants to stay away from cricket for some time. But, he will be playing other T20 Cricket Leagues.
Steyn says that I am not retiring. Just need a break from cricket during that period. He confirms the information through a social media network. So, that they know in advance and can prepare for the upcoming edition of the tournament accordingly in the IPL 2021 Auctions.
Dale Steyn started his IPL career with Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2008. He joins RCB again in 2019 as a replacement for Nathan Coulter-Nile. They pick him again in 2020. Where Dale played only three games in IPL 2020 for RCB (Royal Challengers Bangalore). Where he took just one wicket and his economy was 11.40. The tournament got delayed due to a pandemic and was even shifted to UAE (United Arab Emirates).

In 2019, he retired from test cricket. He has picked 439 wickets in his career. Dale Steyn says that I will play till I believe that I can contribute to my team and can play at the highest level. I will keep on playing for my country. I will announce my retirement when I feel that I can’t do that anymore.
