Dilip Vengsarkar Says Send Rahul Dravid to Australia to assist Team India after seeing them 36/9 in the 2nd inning of the 1st Test.
Indian cricket team struggled greatly in the first test against the hosts Australians. The condition of the batting line up was so bad. That the Indian team was stopped at just 36 runs in their second inning of the first test. This is why Shree Dilip Vengsarkar is suggesting to send Rahul Dravid to Australia for the rescue.
Dravid as of now is the current chief of the NCA (National Cricket Academy) in Bengaluru. Vengsarkar’s argument for this is that the Indian cricket team needs someone experienced to guide them through this tough time. Although there is this mandatory 14-day quarantine period, Dravid would be able to join the team in the third test at least.
The Indians would be facing the Australians in the upcoming test match without their star batsman and skipper Virat Kohli. Because he has left the team to join his pregnant wife Anushka Sharma for the birth of their child. While star bowler Mohammed Shami won’t be available for the rest of the matches due to injury.
It was due to the star duo Josh Hazlewood and Pat Cummins. That the Indian team got all-out at just 36 runs. We think that it would be a great decision if BCCI decides to send Rahul Dravid to Australia to assist the struggling team. But now it is up to BCCI and the team management to decide whether or not to implement this great advice given by Shree Dilip Vengsarkar.
It would be great news for the Indian cricket team if the BCCI agree to this. We hope that Rahul Dravid will also accept the offer and guide the team through these difficult times.
The times are tough. But, we also hope that the Indian team does not leave hope and try to give their best.
