The total runs which he scored are 556 runs. Another one of the records that he made as a debut opener was in October 2019. In this match against the South African cricket team, Sharma managed to smash two tonnes in a single match!!!

If we talk about his overall test career, then he has managed to play 32 test matches till now. His total runs are 2141 which were made with an average of 46.54. With regards to the number of centuries that he has scored, it is 6.

Also, Rohit Sharma has smashed 10 half-centuries till now as well. It is interesting to note that while he scored 3 centuries in 27 matches as a middle order batsman, he scored same number of centuries in just 5 matches that he opened.

This proves that he is a world-class professional opener for team India. His top most test cricket score has been 212. You would also be surprised to know that he scored these many runs in just 255 deliveries. He smashed 28 fours and 6 sixes in this innings.
