While the Indian batsmen batting on the second day of the test failed to create an impact, the Indian bowlers reversed the dynamics of the match in India’s favor.

If we talk about the batting of the Indians on day 2, then Ravichandran Ashwin only managed to contribute 15 runs in total. Other batsmen failed to score a decent total for themselves and the team.

As for the first innings of the Australians, then they did lose their first couple of wickets early on but then Marnus Labuschagne made a contribution of 47 runs. He played a stable and slow inning to revive the Australian inning. The skipper and wicketkeeper Tim Paine made 73 runs in 99 balls. That’s great if take into account the fact that this is a test match. He managed to smash 10 fours in his wonderful inning.

While his other teammates Umesh Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah had to stay content with three and two wickets respectively. The match is now at an interesting turn and it would be really interesting to watch what happens.

The second innings of the Indians has started and they have lost the wicket of their star opener, Prithvi Shaw. Mayank Agrawal and Jasprit Bumrah are still on the crease. Will India be able to set up a huge total for the Australians to chase? Or will they simply collapse and simply drop the match in the lap of the Australians? We guess that only time will be able to tell. Keep enjoying the match and do keep visiting us for more updates. India is leading by 62 runs after Day 2.
