India vs England Second T20 Match: India won the toss and chose to field first.
Jason Roy Propels England
While England did lose its first wicket on the third ball itself in the form of Jos Butler, his fellow opener Jason Roy went on to play an excellent inning and fell short of a half-century by just 4 runs. Other batsmen which batted scored an almost similar amount of runs individually.
Ben Stokes (24 runs), Eoin Morgan (28 runs), Jonny Bairstow (20 runs), and Dawid Malan (24 runs) were the other major scorers. In total, the English were able to score 164 runs which is indeed an impressive total. Washington Sundar and Shardul Thakur took a couple of wickets each. While Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Y Chahal bagged a wicket each.
Kohli Gives A Befitting Reply
When Virat Kohli got out on a duck in the first match, it was a meme fest as he was trolled left, right and centre. But he gave a proper reply to his haters by taking India to the winning score by contributing 73 runs. His strike touched almost 150.
Youngster Ishan Kishan too hit a half-century (56 runs). While in a bizarre coincidence, KL Rahul (opener) too was dismissed in the first over on 0 like Jos Butler. India achieved the set target in just 17.5 overs.
English Bowlers Gave The Match Away
While the score created by the English batsmen could have been defended, the bowlers messed it all up. To understand that, just read the economy rate of these three English bowlers.

Also, they were not able to pick wickets. They let Ishan and Virat build a strong partnership after which the foundation of the victory of the Indian team was already built.
Man of the Match
Ishan Kishan becomes the Man of the Match for 32 balls 56 in his T20 Debut in India vs England Second T20.
