This all became possible thanks to the aggressive bowling of the duo, Pat Cummins and Josh Hazlewood. Together they managed to decimate the Indian innings and made sure that none of the batsmen managed to play a decent inning. Their fellow bowler Mitchell Starc also kept the pressure on as he gave just 7 runs in the 6 overs that he bowled.

  • Highest Test Score: (759/7)

This happened at the Chepauk stadium in Chennai. This all became possible thanks to the excellent inning of Lokesh Rahul and Karun Nair. While Lokesh Rahul smashed 199 runs, Karun Nair managed to put up a mammoth total of 303 runs. Along with these two, Ravichandran Aswin and Ravindra Jadeja also joined in the party with their respective half-centuries.

They scored 67 and 51 runs to be exact. This match took place against the English cricket team. The Indians managed to completely dominate over the English thanks to their wonderful batting. If we talk about the English bowling, then Stuart Broad and Liam Dawson managed to take 2 wickets each and were the most successful bowlers.

Conclusion

Performance varies with time and we hope that the Indian cricket team works on its performance and plays better in the upcoming matches of the Border Gavaskar Trophy.
