On the 18th of August, the IPL 2020 Sponsorship Winner is announced. Dream 11 won the bid for the Sponsorship. None other than IPL chairman Brijesh Patel announces this information.
Dream 11 won the bid with INR 222 crores against their rivals Unacademy (INR 171 crore) and Byju’s (INR 201 crore). But, their deal for IPL 2020 Sponsorship is from the 18th of August to the 31st of December.
In 2018, BCCI and IPL franchise owners agreed on a revenue agreement. The agreement says that the teams will earn 50 percent of the income from the central rights which includes broadcast, title, and other sponsorship.
In that case, INR 111 crore will be shared between the franchises for IPL 2020.
