England leading pacer Jofra Archer has been dropped from 2nd test match against West Indies because of protocol Breach. The announcement is made just a few hours before the second test match was about to start at Old Trafford on Thursday on 16th of July.England Cricket Board(ECB) said that Archer went home on Monday while the other players traveled from Southampton to Manchester. He has breached the protocol and now he will have to be in an isolation period of five days.Then, he will have to go through two COVID-19 tests.
If his test will be negative on both the tests then only he will be eligible to play. ECB also informed the instance to West Indian team management. West Indies team management was happy with their decision because of the way they are taking safety measures. Jofra Archer apologized and said that I have put the whole team and management in danger. Jofra Archer has accepted the consequences for his actions because he let both teams down. However, He bowled well in the second innings of the first test. He picked three wickets but England lost that game.
