Ireland again didn’t start well with the bat. They were four wickets down for just 44 runs. But, Curtis Campher played well and he scored 68 runs. He reached his second fifty and takes the team to a respectable score of 212 for 9. Rashid took three wickets. Willey and Mahmood picked a couple of wickets.
Adil Rashid reached his 150 ODI wickets.
England batted well and finished the game in 32.3 overs. Jonathan Bairstow smashed 82 runs in just 41 deliveries. He guides the team towards a four-wicket win. He smashed 14 boundaries and two sixes. Jonathan Bairstow was awarded as Player of the Match. Sam Billings supported him and played an unbeaten knock of 46.
However, Ireland would be happy with the efforts of camphor. He scored 68 runs and took a couple of wickets.
England has achieved 20 points in two games in the Cricket World Cup Super League. They are leading the series 2-0. They will look to win the next game as well and will eye for 3-0 win.
