KL Rahul has been ruled out of last two tests against Australia

KL Rahul has been ruled out of the last two tests against Australia due to an injury in a practice session. Though he didn’t play the first two tests against Australia. But, his presence is quite important for the team. His presence put pressure on the openers to perform. Otherwise, he is there whenever he gets an opportunity to play.BCCI confirms that KL Rahul has pain in the left wrist during the net session. Due to this, he will be out for three weeks. He will have to go to the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore to regain his fitness.

Mohamed Shami misses out during the first test in the Boxing Day Test. Umesh Yadav misses out during the second test due to a calf injury. While KL Rahul got injured in a practice session before the third test. All will have to undergo fitness at the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore.

Ishant Sharma and Rohit Sharma were there in the National Cricket Academy before the Australian Tour. Ishant Sharma has not declared a match fit. Due to which he misses out on the Australian tour. But, Rohit Sharma was declared fit. A few days ago, he has arrived in Australia and has completed the quarantine period.

But, Rohit Sharma is in isolation with the players Rishabh Pant, Shubman Gill, Prithvi Shaw, and Navdeep Saini. Because there was a video in which Rishabh Pant was found hugging an Indian fan in a restaurant in Australia. There is an investigation going on whether they have broken the Bio-Secured Bubble or not. However, Rohit Sharma has been announced as the vice-captain for the last two test matches against Australia. That means that he will most probably play in the third test. He is likely to replace Mayank Agarwal.
