Mitchell Starc will be out of 2 T20 Matches against India due to an illness of his family member. He will be leaving the bio bubble of the Australian cricket team to attend to his relative.
He had also missed out on the third ODI against India but had managed to come back for the first T20 match. In which he managed to take 2 wickets. Australian coach Justin Langer also supported his decision to drop off and said that they would welcome him again once he is ready to join the Australian team again.
This is quite a big blow to the Australian cricket team as they already have other players with some issues. David Warner and Ashton Agar are both out of the team due to their respective injuries. While pacer Pat Cummins is being given some rest. Mitchell Starc will be out of 2 T20 Matches against India is another blow to them.
We hope that Mitchell Starc’s relative gets well again soon so that he can join the Australian cricket team soon. We wish him all the best.
Australia has Daniel Sams and Andrew Tye as the two options to replace Starc with.
If we talk about the T20 series then India had managed to win the first match by 11 runs against Australia. It was quite a close match and the Australians lost by very few runs. This was due to the batting order failure of the Australians.
It would be really interesting to see how the remaining 2 matches turn out. We wish both the teams all the best and we hope that we see two really exciting and wonderful games.
