Tom Latham and Tom Blundell put up a 111 runs stand for the first wicket. Tom Latham scored 53 off 112 balls. While Tom Blundell played 64 off 107 deliveries. Naseem Shah took three wickets. Pakistan came out to bat for the second inning. They started poorly because they lost two wickets without scoring any runs. Shan Masood and Abid Ali got out on a duck. Tim Southee dismissed Haris Sohail on 9. Pakistan cricket team was in huge trouble as they were 37 for 3. But, Azhar Ali and Fawad Alam batted well and they were unbeaten on 34 and 21. Tim Southee picked a couple of wickets. He reaches his 300th Test wicket. After reaching the 300 wickets. He has joined the 300 club in cricket history. Trent Boult took one wicket as well.
They will continue from here and will look to draw the test match by batting the complete day. On the other hand, New Zealand will look to finish the game by picking the remaining wickets. They will look to lead the series 1-0.
