New Zealand vs West Indies 2nd Test Day 3
New Zealand vs West Indies 2nd Test Day 3 Report: New Zealand tightened their grip on the ongoing test match. Because they managed to all out the whole West Indies cricket team for just 131 runs in their first innings. Trent Boult led the New Zealand bowling attack. He took three wickets in the first innings of the West Indies.
As a result, the West Indies were asked to follow on in their second innings. With their second innings, West Indies started with a shaky start as they lost their first couple of wickets early on but the opener John Campbell managed to score a decent total of 68 runs.
He, Sharmarh Brooks and the skipper Jason Holder were the top performers. Who managed to score some decent totals. As for the New Zealand’s bowling, Trent Boult led the charge by taking 3 wickets.
His teammate bowler Kyle Jamieson and Neil Wagner managed to take two and one wicket each. While their other teammate Daryl Mitchell was the most economical bowler with an economy rate of just 2.00.
As for the match, New Zealand will triumph over their rivals West indies if they managed to send all their remaining batsmen back to the dugout before they managed to score 85 more runs. And even if West Indies does really manage to set a target for New Zealand, it will most probably be not a big one. This is unless the West Indies batsmen manage to do some kind of a miracle.
Overall, the kiwis have the grip over the whole match and most probably it will be they who will be winning. We hope that the fourth day of the match is interesting to watch as well like the first three days.
