Pakistan VS Zimbabwe 2nd ODI in 2020 takes place at Rawalpindi Stadium. Pakistan Bowlers Iftikhar Ahmed and Babar Azam helped the team to win the 2nd One Day Internationals in Rawalpindi by 6 wickets. However, Pakistan chases the target of 207 runs with having almost 15 overs, still in hand. Pakistan already had won the 1 st match of the ODI by 26 runs on Friday at the same venue. This 2nd victory has wrapped the series with a 2-0 lead. However, the final game of the 3-match series will take place at Rawalpindi on Tuesday, 03 November 2020.
Chamu Chibhabha, Zimbabwe Captain chose to bat first by winning the toss and began with a slow start. But Zimbabwe gained the momentum with Brendan Taylor and Sean Williams who managed to get himself 75 runs and beefed up the total. Their 61- run partnership took 120 runs at their side, but their dream of setting a minimum target of about 260/270 runs got shattered when Ahmed got the wicket of Taylor. Team Zimbabwe got knocked out within 45 overs, leaving a target of measly 207 runs.
On the other hand, Team Pakistan has shown an amazing performance on the field. Two stars of the second match of the series were Bowler Iftikhar Ahmed, who made his maiden five-wicket haul in ODI. And, Captain Babar Azam with his elegant score of 77 runs-innings in just
75 balls. Iftikhar with his impeccable bowling earned himself the title of Man of the Match. Pakistan was never in any situation that could lead the win slip out of their hands. Azam has smartly played his batting innings with ease and periodically smashing boundaries. He made Pakistan’s winning inevitable after acquiring a half-century.
In the second match, Pakistan introduced two 20-years-old pair Musa Khan and Haider Ali to play their first ODI series. Haider Ali replaces Haris Sohail. While Musa replaces Wahab Riaz. Because he was asked to rest due to trouble.
