Performance Of Peshawar Zalmi in Pakistan Super League

  • PSL 2020

Their season could have been better had they managed to win one or two matches more. But in the end, they had to stay content with nine points. The run rate of this team was -0.055. There one match was cancelled as well in this season.

  • PSL 2019

They came out on the top of the league table since they won seven matches while losing three. They also had the best run rate of all with it being 0.828. Quetta Gladiators too had the same number of points but were behind PZ due to run rate (net).

  • PSL 2018

This season’s double round-robin part was interesting as the middle four teams were quite close to each other. PZ came third in this race with five wins and five losses. Although, tragically, they lost all three of their last matches or else things would have been even better.

  • PSL 2017

They topped the table with fours wins while losing three matches. One of their matches did get cancelled though. The team in the second place, Quetta Gladiators, too had a similar number of points but had a poor run rate.

  • PSL 2016

While they did lose three of their last five matches, they still ended up on the top. Their nearest competitor, Quetta Gladiators did put up a fight as they won four of their last five games but were beaten in the net run rate game.
