Pravin Amre is appointed as Delhi Capitals assistant coach

Pravin Amre is a former Indian batsman. The franchise announced that Pravin Amre is appointed as Delhi Capitals assistant coach.

In 2014 to 2019, he served as a Head Talent Scount for the franchise Delhi capitals. In the end of 2019 to 2020, he was Mumbai Indian’s talent scout. However, this time Pravin Amre is appointed as Delhi Capitals assistant coach. New role comes up with new challenges.

He has also coached Mumbai state team. Where they won three Ranji Trophy titles. He says that he is grateful to the DC management for giving me an opportunity. I am looking forward for the new role and I am delighted to work with Ricky Ponting again.

Pravin Amre has played for Indian Cricket Team in 11 tests and 37 ODIs. The likes of Rishabh Pant, Shreyas Iyer and Prithvi Shaw were trained under him for the Delhi Capitals, says CEO, Dhiraj Malhotra. He said that Amre’s experience will be valuable for us.
