The new opening pair for Rajasthan Royals. Robin Uthappa and Ben Stokes will open. They started well because they scored 52 for 1 in the powerplay. At the halfway stage, they reached 80-3. He was looking in good touch today and should have carried on and made it count by scoring big runs. But, he couldn’t convert into a big one.
Steven Smith and Jos Buttler formed a partnership of 58 runs. It was much needed as they lost both Samson and Uthappa in the same over. Steven Smith played a good knock of 57 in 36 deliveries. Rahul Tewatia also played a small cameo of 11 balls 19. They take the team to a total score of 177 for 6. It is a decent total on the board. Chris Morris was brilliant today with the ball. Because he picked a four-wicket haul and gave only 26 runs in his four overs.

Royal Challengers Bangalore scored 77 for 1 at the halfway stage. In 15 overs, they managed to score 114 for 3. Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal were dismissed. Padikkal played a run a ball 35. He needs to learn to accelerate like Virat. He was trying to hit shots but was struggling to score a boundary. Strike rate is an important factor in T20 cricket. Because slow strike rate put another batsman under pressure. On the other hand, Virat scored 43 in 22 deliveries. Ab de Villiers innings was the game-changing innings. Because he scored 55* runs in just 22 balls.

RCB needed 35 runs in two overs. ABD releases the pressure by smashing three consecutive sixes in Unadkat’s 19th over. Unadkat conceded 25 runs in an over. They need 10 runs to win in the final over. Jofra to bowl the final over. But, ABD finishes the game by smashing a six. Steve Smith should have given the 19th over to Jofra instead of Unadkat.
