The 33-year old cricketer, Sudeep Tyagi, has represented the Indian National Cricket Team in four ODIs and in one T20I as a fast bowler. On November 17, 2020, the cricketer stunned everyone when he announced his retirement from all formats of cricket. 

Sudeep Tyagi has taken retirement from cricket in all formats. The cricketer made his debut in the Ranji Trophy competition when he played for Uttar Pradesh in 2007-08. Tyagi showed some first-class game in his debut with 41 wickets at 21.63. During that match, the cricketer had no idea that one day he will be seen wearing the blue jersey, thousands could only dream of.

He got one step closer to his dream when he was signed by Chennai Super Kings for the Indian Premier League; it gave him an amazing opportunity to showcase the potential he had to the selectors of the national team and the people of the country. Sadly, due to some of his injuries and stress, he couldn’t do much in the season.

After getting back on track, the right-arm pacer finally made his ODI debut against Sri Lanka in 2009. Though the match was dismissed because of the unfit pitch. However, he managed to take a wicket of one of the finest skipper of Sri Lanka, Kumar Sangakkara. 

Tyagi in total played five games and picked three wickets in three 50-over formats in the Indian blue jersey. His last game for the national team was during the Ahmadabad ODI against South Africa in February 2010. 

The dream started shattering when in 2014, he remained unsold. During the auction of the Indian Premier League. Which meant that he had a lot to do to grab the eyeballs again. However, in Nov 2020, the cricketer Sudeep Tyagi finally announced his retirement from international cricket.
