Vaibhav Sooryavanshi created history by becoming the youngest player to smash a fifty in Duleep Trophy. He achieved this milestone at the age of 15 years and 157 days old.
He broke a 57-year-old record previously held by Laxman Singh, who scored a fifty at the age of 16 years and 23 days in 1969. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi scored 92 runs from 81 balls, hitting seven fours and seven sixes. He missed out on his century by just 8 runs.
