The Top 10 run-getters of IPL 2020 are the players who were in the race for the orange cap. Indian Premier League awards the ‘Orange Cap’ to the batsmen who score the highest runs in the tournament. The orange cap juggles around from one batsman to another as the tournament progress. It finally is presented to the top-run getter at the final match of IPL. David Warner has bagged the Orange Cap the most number of times in 2015, 2017, and 2019 followed by Chris Gayle.

In IPL 2020, many young talented, and world-class batsmen fought for the IPL Orange Cap. The Kings XI Punjab batsmen KL Rahul has won the orange cap for IPL 2020.  He was awarded the title at the IPL 2020 finals.

The top 10 run-getters of IPL 2020 are listed below:-

KL Rahul

Kings XI Punjab batsmen who won the title of Orange Cap on November 10, 2020, at the IPL 2020 finals. He has played 14 matches in total. He having an average of 55. 83 runs smashed a score total of 670 runs in his 14 innings. However, his highest score is 132.

Shikhar Dhawan

The second in line is Shikhar Dhawan, Delhi Capitals batsmen who with an average of 44.14 scored a total of 618 runs in 17 matches. His highest score is 106.

David Warner

Sunrisers Hyderabad captain scored a total of 548 runs in 16 matches. So, his highest score was 85 runs, and has an average of 44.14 runs. 

Shreyas Iyer

Delhi Capitals Captain Shreyas Iyer scored 519 runs. With having an average run rate of 34.60 in 17 matches. 88 is his highest score.

Ishan Kishan

Mumbai Indians batsmen who played 13 innings has scored 516 runs. However, his batting average of 57.33 runs was quite impressive.

Quinton de Kock & Suryakumar Yadav

The 5th and 6th inline who played 16 and 15 innings for Mumbai Indians respectively scored 503 and 480 runs in IPL 2020. 78 and 79 are their highest scores respectively.

Devdutt Padikkal (Royal Challengers Bangalore)

Devdutt Padikkal scored 473 runs in 15 games. His highest score was 74.

Virat Kohli (Royal Challengers Bangalore)

Virat Kohli was not scene in good form. He scored runs but it didn’t look like he was in good touch in comparison with the previous IPL’s he had. However, still, he managed to score 466 runs in the tournament. But, his highest score was 90.

AB de Villiers (Royal Challengers Bangalore)

Ab has a good tournament. He scored 454 runs in 15 innings. However, his highest score was 73. But, the way he was batting, it seems like he should have come back from retirement.
