He fights back for Australia and put them in a position to score a 350 plus total in the first inning. Steven Smith and Matthew Wade also contributed with 36 and 45. Navdeep Saini went off the field in his 8th overdue to a groin injury.

Australia scored 274 for five at the end of the first day. Cameron Green and Tim Paine were unbeaten on 28 and 38. They will continue from here and look to score 35 plus runs on the board.
